the problem is that to watch 3d movies with the HK i needed that converter and i have to use optical audio because the hdmi is not pass thru. I got that old hk because i was worried those speakers would fry most avr's in my budget. 7 d6lcr's, 2 d6subs, acer projector, optoma 3d converter, hk 745. I hate that the company was sold, but Preben Jacobsen and Julius Mortensen wanted to retire, so.Ĭlick to expand.I've got a crazy setup(as far as connections). Here's a photo of someone elses'- I'd prefer to replace with the OEM part, rather than gather the T/S parameters and try to make them work. After about 1982, they switched to a foam surround but I prefer the rubber because they don't deteriorate much without direct Sunlight or harsh chemicals. If anyone has one of these in good condition, I would like to know about it. I don't remember when or how it happened and I'm still not happy about it, but.Īll of the drivers in that model are Phillips and the woofer is model # AD7068W8, with butyl rubber surround. I worked for their 2nd dealer in the US and I enjoyed them for a long time until, somehow, one of the woofers quit. Since I haven't seen this thread before (or, maybe I did and it has been a long time since), I thought I might as well ask I have a pair of Jamo J-101 from about 1979-1980. is it a bad sub2 output or am i connecting wrong? thx for any help/thoughts. tried each individually and they sounded the same. my question is/are is the sequential connection probably the cause of the lower output to the 2nd sub and is there any other way to connect both subs to the avr? actually now that i sit here i remember when i ran the setup with the little microphone you move around the room it wouldnt locate the 2nd sub. this activates both subs but the 2nd has less power(finger on woofer test) lol, than the other. my fix was to use the main sub out to one of the subs, and then connect the other sub to the sub connected to the avr. Its been a couple of years since i hooked it up and i see the h/k has 2 sub-outs, but i believe when i used both outs to each sub only 1 sub would work. Hello, I haven't used my HT for a long time and the stuff is dated but still sounds good enough i guess. My concern is the subs, have 2 jamo d6subs connected to an old harman Kardon 745.
